concord trip

well I am still writing and I just had the experience of a life time. last weekend we went to concord California for a marching band trip and it was loads of fun. On the way down we stopped at the Jelly Belly factory and took a tour! the whole marching band, but the workers handed it well. We going into the competition our band director wanted us to have a fun time and he also told us that he dose not want our spirits down if we don’t do well against the monster bands of California. but as it turns out we took first! in our category and came in third overall if the judged us together. which is awesome! there grading system is different than or home circuit so we did not get as high scores that we get in our circuit. but it was like this across the board so it’s all good. we actually beat ( Fred and jenny if you can remember the green band that went on before James Logan the red band) a band that had almost 300 kids in it and went to Beijing this summer, in some captions. like High individual music, high auxiliary, and music ensemble. which is unheard of, a four a band beating most of the five a bands. Garcia ( our band director) found out that we actually got the highest 4 a  band score in the state of California!!!!!!!!!!! That is cool a little podunk little town from Oregon cleaning house against California monster bands! It was a good ending to a great season.
